UMCOR (The United Methodist Committee on Relief) is a ministry of The United Methodist Church.  It is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help alleviate suffering around the world.  UMCOR provides humanitarian relief when life is disrupted by man-made and natural disasters to such an extent that communities cannot recover on their own. John Wesley UMC is a proud supporter of UMCOR and its mission.

When teams from John Wesley venture forth on mission projects we typically go under the auspices of UMCOR.  John Wesley members made over 20 trips to the Gulf coast of Mississippi between 2006 and 2010.
