The mission statement of the Service Team is to provide opportunities to grow in Christian Service.
John Wesley, the founder of our denomination, wrote the most amazing mission statement. We happily wear it on our t-shirts and use its words as our daily marching orders.
The Team hopes to meet the first Tuesday of each month around 1:00 pm in the church conference room. We are prayerfully planning missions of kindness in our community.
We work in partnership with many other community-based organizations. The internet is such an amazing tool. Do you realize that each link has the potential to connect you with folks who honor God with their respectful service? God’s church is so much larger than the walls of John Wesley United Methodist located at 129 N. Potomac. Our Serving Others page-tab suggests many places in our community to serve. Our Faith Family members can be found in those wonderful places.
